My first pair of Hunter Boots lasted 20 yrs before showing signs of leakage, 4 yrs ago I bought my 2nd pair from a well known outdoor sports shop in SW19, during the 1st few months I had concerns over the quality of these boots, Hunter sent me some boot socks to belay my concerns, the boots are now 3 1/2 yrs old, used for washing the car, gardening and muddy walks. No one is accountable and the new person responding doesn't take the time to read the massive email thread below to prevent asking the same question to you, wasting more time. I was exchanging tall boots for short boots. It is crystal clear that I don't have the boots, but they are not willing to help expedite this in any way. After complaining they asked me to reorder online but the item was not discounted any more. when on the phone talked to like to was a child and point blank refused to put me through to anyone senior. All 4 boots have now perished and split at the top. Our old wellies cost a fraction of the price and were in better condition than these when we threw them away after 20+ years. Keep well away from this company they are in free fall.At least by reviewing through Trust Pilot I got a response, I now have a promise of a full refund, time will tell if that happens. After explaining to another new rep that the new boots were less expensive, they said, OK, but we don't do partial refunds. 3 years on my husbands aigle and my rockfish brands are still going strong! I did not remember I had an account there and decided it would be best to have the account deleted. I assumed this meant business days. Waited for a week for a shipping notice and had I not reached out to them to request an update, I would never have known they canceled because they did not notify me.
